She is excited about her career in real estate. Jan was a native of Arkansas. Born and raised in Pine Bluff. She married her husband Bruce in 1983. At that time Jan moved to Fort Worth, Texas. In 1985 Jan's husband took a job in Connecticut. They lived on Long Island Sound. After a short time there they moved to Illinois for a couple of years. Then they moved to Pennsylvania. After three years in Pennsylvania they moved to Solomon's Island, Maryland. They lived there for thirteen years. They moved to Heber Springs in 2003 to start a new life and to be close to family. They loved the lake and the beauty of this area. They spend most of their free time on the lake. Jan enjoys decorative painting and antiquing. She has two booths in the downtown area of Heber Springs. Jan and her husband have a love for dachshunds. They have a miniature longhair dachshund named Miley. Miley also enjoys boating on the lake. She is still in training, because she is just a puppy.
